When a national fitness chain needs signage across multiple locations, consistency and quality aren't optional — they're non-negotiable. Lundon Calling delivered a comprehensive window graphics and privacy film package for Fit4Less that works on two levels: bold street-facing marketing and functional interior privacy with branded design.


The Project

Fit4Less is one of Canada's fastest-growing gym chains, known for their no-frills, affordable fitness model. Their branding is direct and confident — bold yellow and white on dark backgrounds, punchy taglines, and a proudly Canadian identity.

This project required signage that does double duty:

  1. Exterior window graphics that market the gym to drive-by and walk-by traffic
  2. Interior privacy film that blocks visibility into the workout floor while reinforcing the brand

Both had to meet Fit4Less corporate standards while being fabricated and installed locally.


Exterior Window Graphics

The storefront features multiple large window banks, each covered with high-impact vinyl graphics:

  • "IT'S A GYM." — The brand's signature no-nonsense tagline in bold yellow on charcoal, with "JOIN AT FIT4LESS.CA" call to action. Impossible to miss from the street or parking lot.
  • "FITNESS, SIMPLIFIED." — A second panel reinforcing the brand promise, same bold treatment with the website URL.
  • "PROUDLY CANADIAN" — A massive maple leaf graphic in Fit4Less yellow spanning multiple window panes, visible from across the parking lot. This ties into the brand's national identity and resonates with the local market.
  • Entrance graphics — "OPEN 24 HOURS" signage on the entry doors with membership pricing, plus "ENTRANCE" and "JOIN NOW" messaging on the corner windows.

The graphics are printed on perforated vinyl — from outside, you see bold, full-colour graphics. From inside, members still get natural light. It's the standard for gym window graphics because it solves both the marketing and privacy problems simultaneously.


Interior Privacy Film

The interior installation is where this project gets interesting. Fit4Less needed privacy film on the workout floor windows — members don't want to feel like they're exercising in a fishbowl, especially along street-facing cardio rows.

Rather than plain frosted film, we installed custom-designed privacy film featuring the Fit4Less maple leaf logo and "Proudly Canadian" branding. From inside the gym, you see:

  • A large-scale maple leaf silhouette with yellow outline spanning multiple panes
  • Frosted film that blocks external visibility while still letting natural light flood the cardio area
  • Brand messaging visible even from inside, reinforcing the Fit4Less identity for members during their workout

The interior shots show the film working exactly as intended: exercise bikes lined up along the windows with full natural light, but complete privacy from the street. The maple leaf design adds visual interest to what would otherwise be plain frosted glass — turning a functional necessity into a branding opportunity.

The building already had Fit4Less channel letters and basic door signage, but the large window banks were bare — no branded graphics, no privacy film, no street-level marketing. Plain glass letting everyone see in, and doing nothing to attract new members from the street.

Every window surface now works for the brand. Bold exterior graphics with punchy messaging, branded privacy film on the interior, and a "Proudly Canadian" maple leaf that's visible from across the parking lot.
